“Come see me in the good light. Come tell me what you tell the truth.”

- Andrea Gibson

I am a Black, first-generation-everything person.

I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (CA 160044, DE MI-0000387) offering telehealth therapy for adults in California and Delaware. At Good Light Psychotherapy, I support people who are ready to understand themselves more deeply, heal from past wounds, and build more grounded, meaningful ways of living and relating.

My work is rooted in a client-centered, relational, and integrative approach that honors identity, lived experience, and context. I help adults navigate:

  • Anxiety and stress

  • Trauma and relational patterns

  • Life transitions and identity work

  • Grief, loss, and self‑understanding

My work is deeply informed by lived experience. As a first-generation American with Jamaican roots shaped by survival and joy, and Jewish family values of chesed (showing up for others with love) and tikkun olam (repairing the world), I bring an intentional, justice-oriented lens to everything I do.

A Human & Values‑Driven Approach

I bring my whole self to this work — shaped by my own experiences, background, and commitment to justice‑oriented, affirming care. I value compassion alongside clarity, and I aim to create a space where you are seen without judgment and supported in moving forward.
